Missionaries Raise Support

Meet The Cagwin Family
As the Cagwins follow God, they trust Him to provide the way to Kenya

Posted June 1, 2010

Tim & Anne Cagwin and their two children are the new missionaries with Gethsemane International, Inc. Recently, after careful prayer and consideration, Tim Cagwin decided to accept the position of Director of Operations for Gethsemane's Children's homes in Kenya, Africa.  He and his family have spent time in Kenya and have a heart for the people of that country.

Tim Cagwin has experience with children in the U.S. and Kenyan school systems. As Gethsemane's Director of Operations, Tim will be overseeing the beginning and operation of our new Secondary School. This school will allow us the opportunity to continue to invest in the children of Gethsemane and strengthen their faith.  Also, the school will provide education for some children in the community and allow us to plant the seed of the gospel in the surrounding villiage. Our goal is to have the school functional for the January 2011 school year (Kenya operates according to the European schedule); by that time twenty of our children will be in Secondary School. We need Tim and Anne on the field as soon as possible to begin the planning and preparation needed for this project and others.

The Cagwins are ministering on 100% faith-based support, which means that they depend solely on individual donations. These funds provide for the family's moving, living, and working expenses in Kenya. The Cagwins will depart to work on the field in Oloolua, Kenya as soon as they can raise the needed support. Therefore, there is an urgent need for sufficient funding for this family to begin their work of starting a Secondary School in Kenya and ministering to the children.

Tim and Anne need partners. Partners to enable them to go the field. Partners to to sustain them on a monthly basis while on the field. Partners who will pray with them and for them during this incredible journey of following God's call.
